The Great Gatsby

My latest pen.  The style is called Gatsby.  I am going to keep this one rather than try and sell it.  I had a mishap while turning it.  At least part of the repair is obvious to me even though my focus group can't find it.  Besides, I like the color.

For A Duke Fan

Sometimes sacrifices have to be  made.  I would have  much preferred making a pen out of a lighter blue.

We'll See What Happens

I dropped some of my work off at a local consignment shop today.  I will see what happens with it.  I am  also going to do some smaller items for a different shop and see if that shop is willing to sell them.

Had Some Fun

First one ever.  The wood is cherry.  I also tried one that the wood was dyed pink but the blank blew up.

Also did this.  Mahogany.  I need to find a kit that either has a cap or lets you reverse the pointy bit into the handle.

A Retirement Gift

My boss retired last month.  Best boss I've had.  Anyhoo, he is a woodworker so I made him this.  I wanted something small enough that if he chose not to use it, he could also display it.  I made sure to give it to him on his last day, just so he wasn't tempted to  use it as a head knocker.  :)
